Austin Healey Sprite Mark 2. Last of the true roadsters, no roll up windows, no outer door hardware. It comes with a 948 CC High Compression Sprite engine out of a Bugeye and 4 speed transmission. I have installed a matched set of larger HS2 side draft SU's that are tuned and balanced. This car starts and runs and stops. Clutch is good, tires are good. Original AH hubcaps. Good glass and a very nice new old stock AMCO soft top that fits perfectly. Also includes a nice set of period AMCO wind wings. Good tires and wheels and brakes. Lights and electrical work solid. It has a pair of new old stock side curtains that are in great shape. Top down driving in this little car is an experience that will leave you grinning from ear to ear. Everywhere you stop there will be people who come out of the woodwork to talk to you about your cute little Sprite. The car is a licensed classic which means that you never have to pay for registration in Washington state - ever. Most other states have a similar licensing scheme, check your local laws. Some of my pictures show a windshield to cowl seal that is worn, I have replaced that with a new one from Austin Healey Spares in England. The seats have been renewed with covers and foam from Austin Healey Spares/ The black carpet is all new. On Aug-06-12 at 23:28:04 PDT, seller added the following information: Someone asked about rust, as anyone familiar with little British cars can attest rust can be a major issue. This particular car has no serious rust issues, there are a couple small spots but nothing that would cause great concern. The undercarriage is completely solid and rust free. About the paint, it is old and the car could use a respray. This car is nearly 50 years old, it currently runs and drives and stops. Good oil pressure all the way. Did I mention the engine has a header installed and it has the larger dual carburettors? Still gets over 40MPG!!
