Custom built 1985 Dodge W150, The truck was totally gone through and most items replaced or rebuilt. We installed a 2004 Cadillac Escalade 5.3lt motor and 4L60 auto transmission. Truck originally had the slant six with 4 speed over drive standard. With the motor install came new headers and full side exit dual exhaust. 2.5", It has a 2000 Camaro radiator and electric fans that are computer controlled. The complete interior was replaced with a 1990 D150 interior, which includes the dash , carpet, and seat. There is a custom integrated 99' Firebird gauge cluster in the dash. Everything works except the gas gauge. I always fill back up when the trip odometer shows around 250 miles . The installed motor and transmission has approximately 115k miles. They are from the same truck. The AC blows cold and the heat blows hot! Radio works OK, nothing special. Wheels are from a 2004 Dodge and have good tires on them. the rear tires are wider and rub just a little on the inside of the bed/fender well. Nothing I worry about, you need the wide tires! Average mileage is about 18 MPG in town and better on the highway. The truck received a complete inner and outer paint job, Paint job cost over $3500,.Still needs the valance under the wipers painted and installed. Has a new windshield with new rubber and new door glass seals. Windows are tinted. Has power brakes, has manual steering, but there is a pump on the motor and I have a power steering gear box that will go with the truck.It has new wheel bearings and tie rod ends as well as brakes. Rotors were turned when pads were new. I don't think you will find a nicer 1985 Dodge truck, or a nicer running one. Over $7500 invested not counting my hours! On Aug-16-12 at 07:06:36 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added some up to date pictures that were taken this morning ( 08/16/2012 ) You can see how straight the body is and you can see just a few minor flaws in the hood as well. A small dent and some edge chipping. As you can see from the interior pictures , there is a camaro shifter in the floor, no the truck was not 4x4, that is just to cover the hole in the carpet, remember the interior came from a 90' dodge truck. The truck does not have a headliner ,but I do have one that I found , It is a good cardboard piece that would need to be recovered, but I do have it and will let it go with the truck. I also have some of the trim plastic as well. ( the pieces that go around the headliner) The truck has an older Alpine stereo/ cd player and a couple of new speakers in the doors. As you can see in the pictures the truck is rust free in the cab, the bed has just one small spot (previous owner left trash in the bed for over five years!)
