Vehicle Detail
Too many projects, something has to go. Let’s get the bad out of the way: Rusty tub, heavy scaling on the frame from the rear spring hangers on back. It donated it’s carb, ignition, and a couple other odds and ends to another project recently. Windshield is cracked because I was an idiot and dropped something on it, but I have a spare I’ll include. No top, doors, or tailgate/ambulance doors but I have a pair of ambulance doors available separately. At least one caliper is bad, so is the master cylinder, and I assume the back brakes are history too. I put some Marvel Mystery Oil in the cylinders and maybe she’ll free up, but at the moment, the motor is stuck. Just discovered that today, sucks to be me. She ran when I parked her but that was a long time ago ... Just being honest about it ... Now for the good: Driveline is complete (trans and transfer case shift easily), and someone replaced the clutch at one time since the trans tunnel is hacked up ... sigh, wasn't me. When it ran, clutch seemed strong, no issues. Title is clear, truck rolls easily even with hubs locked so it’ll go on your trailer without a problem. I tore the front axle down a while ago but I don’t remember condition of bearings, etc. Hubs turn easily though. Land Cruiser Advanced Handling shackle reversal, Skyjacker springs, Black Diamond shocks. Fender clearance looks sufficient for 36s. Manual steering works fine, but box could use seals, it leaks. Keep it and look like Arnold did before he became the Governator, or wuss out and swap to power. Old school sliders may not be to your taste but they’re solid and will nerf off zombies, rocks, etc., ... or do boring stuff like support a High Lift to change tires. PO wired it for pushbutton start, probably for the rocks. And it’s cheap, you could easily part the truck out for more than my starting price. I have other things I want to do. What you see is what you get, plus I have a small box of parts that will go with it, stock taillights (what’s left of them), aftermarket front turn signals, couple other things I’m forgetting at the moment. I was going to turn it into a rock crawler so I have an SM420 and SM465 available separately if you’re interested. Obviously this truck is a major project or a good parts truck, but please ask questions. There isn’t any reason you couldn’t put it back on the street, but I consider this truck a base for a dedicated trail rig or rat rod style buggy. Throw some Swampers on it, Lincoln lock the rear, put a cage in it, wheel the poo out of it. After all, it’s about having fun. And now to business: I need this truck sold so I can focus on other priorities. Please, if you don’t have liquid funds to pay the amount you offer (your bid), or if you don’t have advance permission from wifey or any other authority figure in your life, please don’t bid. It’s embarrassing to you and wastes my time. Please don’t do that. If you don’t have a lot of feedback (10 or more), please contact me before you bid. For sale in the continental US only.
