Hello! Here is the car that I thought I could fix up for my daughter. but as she nears 16 I realize that I will never feel safe with her in such an old car no matter how nice I ever could make it. So this car is reluctlantly up for sale. It has a solid running 6 cyl engine. I have a new battery but for some reason it is draining while sitting. so a jump start will be required. however, I have found in the past that if it is started a few times a month, the battery stays good. I bought it a couple years ago from a man that had let it sit for 5 years. I have put a new gas tank, new manual fuel pump, new spark plugs, new wires, new cap/rotor, new oil change. I have only driven this car once and it made all three gears and drove nice and straight, I got it up to 60 on a 4 mile stretch, It wil need very little driveline wise ( lube and such to trans and rear end). the brakes are non existent but with added fluid it can be driven (and a lot of nerve). The floors are rusted out but the frame looks solid from what i have seen. Will need new floors ( the seat mounts are good) new hood (plus one hinge) new trunk, and work done to drivers door. All new interior will be needed. This is a 4 lug, all drum brake car. I have all the parts including front bumper, so replacing everything will be easy since it is all there. this also has factory AC though not tested, it appears to be all there. I priced all the parts online to the tune of around $2500 so you are looking at a very resonable project if you have the know-how. clear Texas title in my name in my hand.
