1980 Mercedes Benz 300SD Turbo Diesel The color is Manganese Brown Metallic with Bamboo MB Tex interior. This car runs very good, it starts right up and has plenty of power, there are no fluid leaks and only the small amount of smoke you would expect from a vintage Mercedes diesel. The 4-speed automatic transmission shifts perfect and the air conditioning is cold. The brakes and suspension are in very good condition, this car drives smooth, straight and solid with no vibration. This Mercedes was a recent trade-in by the second owner who bought it 16 years ago. In the last few weeks I changed the oil and filter, replaced both fuel filters and the air filter. It was professionally detailed from top to bottom and I have personally driven it over 100 miles, so I am sure this is a nice driving and very reliable car. You could use this as an everyday driver but it really should receive some restoration. The drivers seat should be restored with new horsehair padding The original Becker Mexico, the radio works fine, the cassette does not The drivers side power window works but you have to grab the glass and pull up on it. The other three windows work fine The power sliding sunroof is not working This car has very little rust for its age 4 matching Michelin tires with over 90% tread remaining Hand painted pinstripes and the owners initials on both front doors, this was considered very classy back in the day. No dealer fee is charged but Florida residents are required to pay sales tax, title and registration fees.
