Vehicle Detail

**This is a 1986 Vanagon, first year they went to the water cooled engine. The engine and transmission are in great shape, roughly 106k on both, previous owner has a stack of maintenance files and I've only owned it for 7 thousand miles but have had no issues and continue to do the routine maintenance on it as well. The vanagon does have Air conditioning not only in front, but a hard to find unit in the back as well, the only thing is wrong with it currently is the high pressure hose coming off the compressor has a leak, I recharged the system it worked amazing for about a week and thats when I noticed it leaking from that hose.** The exterior is in good shape, there is a dent on the side of the door that I shown in pictures but other than that there is no rust of any other major defects for the exterior. Interior is clean, everything works on the inside, the fridge, the stove and the sink. The table comes out as it should and the couch folds out into a bed properly, the two front seats swivel around to the back side and I've installed a new main battery and installed a brand new aux. battery and aux. battery kit (Which if your not familiar with it is a pretty neat feature, once you have turned off the key a solenoid automatically switches from main battery power to there auxiliary battery, so you can run your lights and other auxiliary sources off that battery instead of the main starting one, once you insert the key and start the car it switches to the other battery and charges the aux battery.) **The dashboard is starting to crack from sun damage but I've installed a dash mat which helps disguise that, also the sliding doors leather cover is starting to tear in the upper right corner. ** Some updates I've done since receiving the vehicle is purchasing brand new 16 inch rim and tires priced at 1,200 off of gowesty.com (which was a great great upgrade and they only have 7,000 miles on them with a 60,000 warranty). I installed all new interior LED lights to lower electricity usage, and I installed the aux battery kit and battery. ***In conclusion I really feel this is a great Vanagon and in very excellent mechanical shape, the interior could use a little fixing but it wouldn't take a lot of money at all to make it very pristine on the inside. I love this van but I just need the money for other things and I'm not using the van for what i really wanted to, so along with the money i would like to sell it to someone who is going to do the westfalia better justice than i could and go on the adventures it was made for. I don't want to auction it because number one I'm not very familiar with the way that works and I hate when people have a reserve price, Im selling it exactly for what I think its worth nothing more and nothing less.
