Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Very rare 1955 ford Country Sedan 4dr wagon. Solid restorable barn find. 100% complete. Was garaged until 1992 when it was sold, then inherited in 05. Unfortunately it’s been outside since then. Body is super solid and complete with only a little rust on the quarters and bottoms of the front fenders. Floors seem to be super solid, including the spare tire well, which always seem to be bad in these cars. This one is nice, and still has the factory spare! Was purchased new in 55 and used as a combination ambulance and rescue vehicle in a small upstate NY town. Has complete original interior, with rubber floor mats in excellent shape. Dash is nice and seats still wear original upholstery. Front door panels are ripped but the patterns are there. Good glass though I cant seem to get the dr door window to roll down and the front door handles stic, though the tailgate works perfectly.. It’s got a 272 or 292ci v8 (I’m a mopar guys so I’m not sure which) with at, p/s and p/b. I put a new battery in, rebuilt the carb and fed it some clean gas and it starts up with no problems. Runs very well. Yard drives but I blew a brake line while moving around so it needs to be towed. The only real fault I can find in this car is the bottom of the rad support, which is rotted, though I believe some one makes repops of that. Car needs a resto, but is definitely worth it. I just don’t have the time or space.
