mynikola Store 1968 DODGE CHARGER 4-SPEED, 440 TRIPLE BLACK--VERY RARE CAR--VERY SOLID CAR ITEM DESCRIPTION: THIS CHARGER IS ACTUALLY VERY VERY RARE FROM THE FACTORY. It originally was a 383 2 barrel 4 speed car. They only made 74 of those engine transmission combos, but now it has a 1969 440, and the 4-speed. The motor runs 100% in this car. Almost all electrical parts in the engine compartment are brand new which makes the engine compartment look amazing. The motor starts up and has a very strong idle. It has the correct HP (High Performance) Manifolds, into a FACTORY EXHAUST SYSTEM. Yes it truly is factory. I found it hanging on a ceiling in someone’s garage from a car that was parted out over 20 years ago and still in perfect condition. The car sounds great. It has all brand new fuel and brake lines, including the master cylinder and brake booster. The interior of the car has new seats, carpet, trim ring and boot, dash work, door panels. The interior of the car is nice, but still needs a couple small pieces like the radio bezel, which is obviously minor. The floors, trunk, and frame are very solid. I did have new quarters put on it. After the body work was done the car was finished off with a Base/Clear paint job, and wet sanded and buffed to a brilliant shine. (Sorry the pictures had to be taken inside due to rain, and consequently you can see reflections everywhere). An extra quart of clear was put on it, so the paint will last a long time and it can be buffed more if scratched in the future. The car shines great and has a very reflective surface. It has a brand new vinyl top, and weather stripping in the trunk, roof rail, and doors. All around this is a great Charger to drive and to show. Many new parts throughout, and original parts were used when humanly possible. I forgot to photo the fender tag but I will have a photo of it tomorrow to confirm the rarity of this car.
