Up for sale is this fine “Numbers Matching” 1970 Pontiac Firebird Esprit with only 122,000 original miles! Born and raised in California, this car has never seen salty back east roads. It came well equipped from the factory with a V8 350 motor, Power Steering, Automatic Transmission, Air Conditioning, Rally Wheels, Deluxe interior, Power Windows, and Power Disc Brakes! You won’t find a more genuine original example Firebird like this one! The car is currently registered and comes with a clear California title and the original documentation from 1970 and dealer PROTECT-O- PLATE!!!! I bought this car with the intentions of turning it to a 1970 Trans Am clone but don’t have the room to store it. I already bought original rust free fenders, trunk lid and end caps (see last pics). These are not included with the auction but if you are interested in the fenders, trunk lid and end caps. I will throw them inside the car for an additional $600.00 I also bought a 1976 Trans Am 50th Anniversary limited edition car to use for parts (specifically the shaker, hood, 15” rally wheels and gauges.) The car is still complete and running which I am listing in a separate auction. This car is a blast to drive and gets a lot of attention everywhere it goes. You get a lot of rubber necking and jaw dropping with this car. People are always tooting their horns and giving you the thumbs up! This car has very few minor rust spots (please see pics) The floor pans and undercarriage were carefully inspected for any rust and there is none to be found! Not a hint of rust anywhere!! This is NOT your typical back East car with replaced floor pans. The engine compartment and undercarriage are perfectly straight with no signs of previous accidents! The car has only been painted once back in the early 1980’s black from it’s original Carousel red color. There is no rust under the vinyl top (see pic). Both the engine and Transmission run smooth and strong! Front and rear brakes are brand new with the rear wheel cylinders replaced. The suspension is nice and tight. Recent oil change, carburetor rebuild and tune-up were done. The interior is all original and nothing has been replaced from factory. Looking for a classic that will appreciate in value as would a solid car like this? Or maybe a problem free car that you can drive daily and take to car shows? You have found it!
