1999 Volvo XC70 Cross Country Wagon , dont let the mileage fool you, this all wheel drive wagon has been very well kept with over $20,000 in service records (included). Runs and drives great, smooth ride, good power and impressive fuel economy. This is alot of car for the price and if one can see past some exterior bumps the new owner will be pleased.
Exterior :
Good overall condition with no major problems. No rust, no evidence of accidents or previous paintwork, though it does have random dents, dings and scratches. Lights and glass are in good shape. Sunroof works as it should. Wheels are in good shape. missing small mesh grilles that sit adjacent to the fog lights in the lower part of the front bumper. Tires are Michelin Pilots with a very good amount of tread remaining (approx 70%).
Interior :
Good overall condition with no major concerns except the drivers seat left lumbar support and general normal wear. Seats and leather surfaces are in good shape. Carpets, floor mats, door panels, dash board,glove box,and headliner also check out ok. Steering wheel leather is worn, there is a small interior trim piece missing that surrounds the drivers seat belt exit from the pillar. Air Conditioning blows very cold, radio and cd player work, comes with radio code card and owners manual. Power seats, power windows, power door locks, mirrors, front/rear wipers, defrosters, on board computer (MPG,exterior temp,avg speed, ect), front and rear fog lights, dual comfort zone climate control, heated seats, keyless entry and gauge cluster all work as they should.
Mechanical :
Engine runs strong, no signs of problems or smoke, sounds good, most recent timing belt was done along with the water pump at 196k. No leaks but underbody does have typical fluid seepage for a13 year old car, nothing worry worthy. Transmission shifts perfect and has had several fluid exchanges/services in the cars history. All malfunction (check engine,airbag,abs,ect) lights/bulbs are functional and none are illuminated. Suspension is tight and rattle free, strut mounts and other various parts have been replaced with original volvo parts. Car was just aligned about 200 miles ago in an effort to keep the Michelin pilot primacy tires wearing evenly. Front and rear brake pads and rotors were just replaced, along with the parking brake shoes.
Overall this Volvo is in much better condition than others we've seen with half the mileage. Definitely a turn key vehicle that can be confidently driven anywhere.
