Here we have a 1931 Model A 5 Window Coupe for sale. Vehicle is mechanically very sound. Car needs paint job to finish it. Since I was running the vehicle in Vintage Car Rally Association rallies, I worried about the mechanically aspects and not the looks of the car. It is what is called ‘10 footer.’ There are some rust bubbles on the finders at the running board ends, chipped paint and etc. Nothing major and rest of body is in very good shape. Chrome is excellent. I have a full hood assembly which will go with the car. Trunk lid latch does not work properly. I can’t seem to get it to stay locked hence the leather straps. Decals come off easily when heated up with hair dryer.I would concern a trade, looking for a pre-war convertible in good shape. Purchased vehicle in 2009 from a private seller. MODIFICATIONS: New running boards installed with step plates less than 2 years old. 1934 Model B Head with B Model water pump. Stainless steel valves installed 2010 because on exhaust valve had to be replaced, replace all and reseated them with correct valve angle. Weber down draft carburetor and manifold Electric Fuel Pump (1-4 psi) with Holley Regulator (sit at 2.7 psi) and fuel gauge inside car. Fuel pump is switched inside the car. FS Electronic Ignition, mechanical spark advance Oil Filter System Marvel Oil Injector Alternator 6 Volt negative ground, new battery installed Apr 2012. FORGOT TO ADD, IT HAS STARTER SOLINOID WITH PUSH STARTER BUTTON. Coolant Recovery System Automatic Fire Extinguisher installed above the engine. Fully Instrumented oil pressure, temperature gauge with Vintage Sun Tachometer and Sun transmitter rebuild with new electronic components. Fuel gauge installed inside the car. Sun tachometer is very unique airplane style. Has thermostat installed in upper radiator hose. Speedometer rebuilt but not hooked up, had 889 on odometer when disconnected. Running a needle type, shows 1445 on the odometer – see pictures. Mitchell Overdrive installed in 2010. 1935 16 inch Ford Wire Wheels, wheels have been trued, sandblasted, primed and painted gloss black with beauty rings. Car has 4 Coker tires mounted with less than 1500 miles on them. Coker spare tire is new. Additional spare tire and wheel included. Fog Lights, lights, dash light, stop lights and turn signals work, seconded tail light installed on right side. All brakes rebuild from backing plate outward, less than 1500 miles. Same time brakes were done kingpins replaced, steering tie rods rebuilt. Has stabilizer shock on tie rod. Rebuilt steering gear box installed this year. New steering wheel installed. New original type shocks installed less than 2 years old. New rear spring shackles installed. Interior has been redone 4 or 5 years ago including head liner and new roof, still looks good. Seat belts installed. Right door felt replaced, installed new window regulator. Left door has new window regulator installed. Radiator recorded in May 2012. New 2 blade one piece fan installed. Old 4 blade fan came apart and went into the radiator in April 2012. Same time radiator was out, put in new medal timing gear. Engine has floating engine mounts front and rear. New radius ball cap bushing installed. New windshield install with switch electric windshield wiper. Has a new horn installed. 12 volt step-up to operate 12 volt radio installed, see pictures for radio. I use the radio for weather updates during vintage car rallies. Car comes with a box of miscellaneous parts. Car has a clear Kansas title.
