1957 Oval Window Volkswagen Beetle Fresh 1600 c.c. engine - professionally rebuilt New Carburator New Brake Lines New Tires - No Mileage Extra Parts : New Link pins, floor quarter panel. Body in good condition, only minor surface rust. Clear Virginia Title I have owned this car for 37 years and brought it with me from California. I am only the third owner. I have completed the mechanics on the car and was planning to start the bodywork, but, the re-occurance of my cancer has forced me to make a change of plans. I have not even felt up to starting the car in over a year, so , I think it is time to pass on the car to someone who can complete the project. The body is solid and this vehicle is an excellent restoration project. Also, there have been MANY enquiries in regards to the heater box/ channels. They are solid and the car has great heat.On Jul-28-12 at 16:12:58 PDT, seller added the following information: Additional Update:bThe mechanic said to make sure and mention that at the same time as as the engine rebuild, he also put in a new clutch and pressure plate, wheel cylinders, brake shoes and replaced all brake lines (metal and rubber) ,On Jul-31-12 at 18:13:24 PDT, seller added the following information: 7/31 Update: I found a NEW front bumper , still wrapped in plastic, that I bought for the car a few years ago. It is good, quality, Brazillian made, and goes with the car.
