Up for auction is this 1919 Ford "T" Roadster runabout. Note that this is a 5 day auction. It is all original with its flathead 4 cylinder engine (22 HP) & 2 spd transmission. I have the engine rebuild receipts and misc. repairs totalling $3K. The engine has been all rebuilt and runs great with no smoking at all. The tranny has been redone also with new bands. Low spd, high spd & reverse all work nicely. The headlights work on high & low beam along with the taillights. The car does run on the magneto setting as it should. The body of the car is all very solid with no rust with no rust through. There are a few blemishes consisting of dings & scratches, but very presentable as is. There are no major dents and no patch panels. The tires have good tread but are slightly checked. They hold air good. I've been driving the car with these tires and the car steers and handles nice. The radiator has been redone and car runs cool. It does have a water pump. The interior upholstery is very nice. The top of the car looks nice, however, has a rub spot under the center bow. There is a product on the market for patching model T tops. It is not visible unless you lift the top off the bow. It could be just fine the way it is. The windshield is in nice condition. The doors open & close nicely. As far as I know there are no issues with this cute little buggy. You could run & drive right away when delivered. There is no speedometer so mileage is unknown. A $1000 non-refundable down payment as a deposit is required to PayPal within 24 hours after the end of the auction. An E-Check will not be accepted as the down payment as it will not clear within the 24 hours. The balance must be paid within 7 days of the end of the auction and will only be accepted as a wire transfer to our bank account or cash in person within 7 days of the end of the auction. Any additional wire fees on the buyers end or on the sellers end will be the responsibility of the buyer. The balance will not be accepted in to PayPal. The car is currently stored in a garage and can remain there for 30 days to allow for pick up or transportation of this car. The arrangement & payment for transportation is the responsibility of the buyer.
