This 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan has been donated to our non profit organization, and we have not physically driven the vehicle ourselves. We understand that this 7 passenger Caravan runs and drives well, has the 3.3 liter, 6 cylinder engine (great engine!), automatic transmission, and gets 22 - 24 mpg! This van DOES NOT leak any oil even though it has 180,124 miles on it, and the exhaust, glass, tires and brakes are all in great condition! The transmission was rebuilt at 120,880 miles, and has been working great since! The brakes were done only 9000 miles ago (at 171,841 miles), The exhaust system was installed at 171,175 miles, all four tires were replaced at 178,203 miles, with a manufacture date of 5-07, and the Interstate battery is like new and was installed at 179,834 miles! The exterior is in "Minnesota fair" condition with the usual amount of rust that one would expect on a vehicle of this age and mileage (see pics). Also, there is some loss of decals on the trim strips (again, see pics). The interior upholstery is in great condition (see pics)! All power options work as they should, and an engine block heater was added to the vehicle some years ago. It is great to have a warm engine in the middle of winter!!! The heater works great, but the AC needs a fluid line that Dodge no longer carries (easy fix-- available at almost ANY auto recycling yard!). This Dodge also has the "get home" provision should the transmission fail... A useful addition to the Power Package! The skinny spare tire that came with the van has also been replaced with a full size tire and wheel to use if necessary. A replacement jack is also included in addition to the one stored in the engine bay!
