Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1974 Porsche 911S. I originally purchased the car in 1997 while living in southern California. This car is the 71st 911S that was produced in 1974 and is the last year of the REAL 911S models and has the 2.7 motor. Over the years I have made several updates to the car and include the following: 1. Braided Metal Brake Lines2. Upgraded front brake calipers (upgraded to 1983 911 SC specs, replaced problem based aluminum calipers)3. Straight header exhaust system with Monza custom dual outlet muffler.3. Upgraded head studs installed on last rebuild4. Aprox 8k miles since last top-end rebuild of the motor.5. Upgraded and installed front trumpet oil cooler6. Complete interior refresh aprox 4 years ago with new carpet and all seating recovered with new leather.7. Carrera door panels8. Aluminum accent on dash9. Aluminum gas, brake, and clutch pedals10. Rare Factory installed rear window wiper11. Tires have less than 500 miles on them.12. Tons of documents, manuals, sales brochures.13. Several original parts: Muffler, steering wheel, door panels, old a/c system that was removed Car starts, and runs every time. Just took it out this weekend with the kids, and it started right up after sitting in the garage for over 2 months! I have loved and cared for this car for many years, but with the addition of kids I no longer drive the car. It needs a new home and owner that will love it like I have. What the car needs:1. Needs a new headliner. I have one, it just needs to be installed2. Passenger window is not working. Just noticed this and will try and fix. I think it is the switch, don't think it is the motor.3. Radio does not work. I started to replace the stereo, just did not finish. This car is almost 40 years old and looks very very good. The body and power train are in great shape and show well. I constantly receive complements on the car when it gets taken out. But, remember it is a used car and as such is sold "as is" and and there are no mechanical guarantees expressed or implied. Auction winner is responsible for delivery of the car. Winner is also responsible for payment via fed wire within 48 hours of the auction close. On Jul-26-12 at 06:43:30 PDT, seller added the following information: Several People have asked me to post a Video.
