1961 Ford Thunderbird Z Code 390 Convertible!! You are viewing a 1961 Ford Thunderbird Convertible with a Z code 390 4 bbl, with automatic transmission. This car is extremely solid and need no rust repair. The car was disassembled for paint and painted about 20 years ago and has been sitting ever since, the condition of the paint is okay for a driver, but could be redone. The car has a nice new convertible top recently installed. As you can see by the pics, the interior needs attention. I have mostly all parts and more to complete the car. The motor was a running motor before the resto was started, but we have not tried to start it. The wheels and tires that are on the car in the pics do not go with the car, a nice set of true spokes come w/ the car and roller tires.
