Vehicle Detail
I am relisting this car simply because I will not sell it for less than what I have in mind. With respect to all customers, I will not disclose my asking price while the auction is running. However, feel free to give me an offer. If the offer is good, I will make a deal and cancel this auction immediately.Once again here is the description and details about my car:Up for sale is my 2009 Ford P71 Crown Vic Heavy Duty Police Package. This unit is by far one of the best police package vehicles I've ever owned and driven. The exterior of the vehicle is in great shape. There are NO dents, or any rust spots. The paint is in great shape and shines very well as seen in the pictures. There are few minor scratches, but nothing major. Overall, this P71 scores a 9.5 out of 10. The reason it’s not a 10:10 is because it has 101K miles. The engine runs great and strong with no leaks or any noises. The rear end is posi and also has no leaks or noises. The transmission shifts smoothly and very strong as expected. The interior of this vehicle is also in great shape, very clean, absolutely no rips, stains or smell. In fact the vehicle still smells as new since its only three years old.Tires are fine and there is no need to change any of them. This car also comes with a full size spare tire that is almost new placed and secured in the truck. A recent inspection was made by my best friend, who happens to be one of the best mechanics I’ve ever known. The brakes and pads are in great shape, oil changed using synthetic oil.For the record, I have been buying and driving retired police vehicles since 1988. I always bought my cars from one person, my close friend that owns his own dealership. He helped me find this brown beauty. When it comes to me, I am extremely picky when it comes to buying a retired government owned vehicle. It took me 3 moths to find this P71. My friend located this vehicle and purchased it directly from a police department. So in a way I am the second owner. The police department that owned this vehicle confirmed that this unit was indeed assigned to only one police supervisor/a shift commander. It was his take home car and he really treated it as if it was his own car. The reason I love this car is because it’s very safe, great on fuel, and will last for a long time. Another good reason is because the insurance on these cars is very cheap. Full Coverage runs me $39.00 a month from State Farm.Feel free to stop by to inspect this unit before the auction ends, and you are more than welcome to bring your own mechanic to inspect this car. Please email me first to set a time for any appointments.I reside in Cortland Ohio and my Zip is 44410. This car is listed locally and for that reason I may cancel this auction at any time. Please contact me if you have any questions. Any customer is welcomed to give mean offer through email. Thank you all, and good luck. Dear Customers, I did not list a reserve price for this vehicle. However, I will not sell this car below the actual price I have in mind. Feel free to contact me and I may consider telling you what my actual lowest possible price. (Serious Buyers Only!) Sincerely,Neil On Jul-14-12 at 09:27:23 PDT, seller added the following information: Dear customers, This is my third time I ran this auction for my P71 Police Interceptor. This is by far a unique interceptor. The color, and the great condition the car is in makes it special. If the price offered during this auction does not meet the lowest price I have inmind, I will not sell this vehicle and most likely will not put it in any auctions ever again. I really don't mind keeping this car, but I have other plans. I hope everyone understands what I mean and at the same time I wish you all a good luck on bidding. Just a reminder, this unit is only three years old; Ford stopped making them in 2011. God knows when and if Ford will ever come out with another full size sedan with rear wheel drive ever again. In 10years from now, these cars will be hard to find in this mint condition. Thank you all and God Bless. As I stated before, I have the right to end this auction at anytime. The car is listed locally and I the price is set in my mind. I will NOT let it go belowe the price I have in mind. As I stated before, please contact me to discuss any cash offer. Thanks again. Sincerely, NeilOn Jul-16-12 at 08:18:06 PDT, seller added the following information: I just wanted to add this information to all of my customers. Yesterday, I literally spent 5 hours detailing this P71. I started with washing it, waxing it, and then buffed it. The paint looks great as if the car just came out of the assembly line. The more I worked on detailing it, the more addicting it became. I then opened the engine compartment and used an expensive cleaner solution and a strong tooth brush cleaned all areas that can’t be reached using your hands. I then washed and cleaned the engine completely and used a special chemical similar to the Armor All to wipe all of the rubber hose in the engine compartment to prevent them from drying out and/or cracking, and protect them from the heat of the engine. I then used engine degreaser waited 15 minutes as instructed and washed it off with water. The interior didn't take long to clean because the car is already in top shape and very clean on the inside. If I would've taken this car to a detail shop to do what I’ve, 1st they would’ve never matched my detailing job, and then they would’ve charged me around $300 for labor alone. The car now is immaculate and in tip top shape. I am so proud of what I’ve to the point where you won’t find a lick of dust on this car J That having been said, I wish you all the best of luck and God Bless.
