Health forces sale of this cool 1965 Ford F100. The truck came equipped with a Ford 240 inline 6 cylinder and a three speed manaul transmission on the tree. The motor runs terrific with plenty of power. I converted the ignition to a Pertoronix Eletronic Iginition System for added reliability. The transmission was converted to a floor shift with a Hurst shifter by a previous owner. The hurst shifter is worn, but the transmission works perfectly in all gears. I have a brand new sealed in the box Hurst 3 speed shifter that goes with the truck. The metal and rubber brake lines have been replaced, as have the wheel cylinders and master cylinder. The brakes are as good as new with a stiff pedal and absolutly straight stopping. The interior is nice, the fuel gauge, temp gauge, and speedometer all work as they should. The heater motor and selector all work as they should. All glass is in excellent condition as are the window mechanisms and the door hardware. All lights and blinkers work as well. The paint is a very nice, recent, two tone that is shiney and shows very well. All trim is there and I have new Twin I Beam side emblems and hood emblem that will go with the truck. I also have the original steering wheel that goes with the truck as well. The frame is very solid, as is the whole truck. The panels and doors all fit as they should, this is solid truck. Things it needs, as mentioned above, the Hurst shifter is worn, I have a brand new one that goes with the truck, it just needs to be installed. The valve cover gasket has a small leak (more annoying than anything else). The exhaust is older but still quiet. The original AM radio does not work (I have not looked at it to see why). The carpet is showing wear, I have brand new moulded hook and loop carpet from a restoration catalogue that goes with the truck ($220.00). I also have a brand new in the box IDIDIT tilt steering wheel column ($525.00) for this truck that goes with it. While the current radiator does not leak, it is old. I had a custom built, 4 row Griffith aluminium radiator built for it to handle any engine from mild to wild. The $500.00 custom aluminium radiator also goes with the truck.
