A well cared for 1983 VW diesel truck. None of them had A/C but this one does. Gray 'Rino' sprayed bed adds to the nice look of this vintage vehicle. No rust, starts hot or cold and runs perfect. Burns no oil between oil changes. I have owned this vehicle for over 20 years and have taken excellent care of it and it has been driven very little. Just one of my favorite cars that I could brag about the 45 MPG I got driving in town in a world of advanced technology and hybrid this and that which present day cars get now an astounding 35 MPG (EPA estimate of course) Vehicle has never been wrecked and has always had seat covers. Dash is in great condition and has dash cover. Driver's seat has small 2" tear in the seat. Timing belt was changed last year about 1,000 miles ago. New bushings installed in the shifting mechanism. New tires, recently passed state inspection, everything works. Left rear plastic bumper cosmetic corner missing. Ceiling head liner replaced by Mexican that just loved a swerly Tijuana tuck fabric that he installed. Hate to see it go but I have too many cars I like sitting in my driveway like the 1990 Suburban diesel also listed here on Ebay. Yeah, I am a diesel fan and will keep the 1998 Isuzu Trooper I have that I put an Isuzu turbo diesel in it that gets 30 MPG. It's a rare, well kept vehicle and everytime I park it somewhere, someone walks up and offers to buy it.
