I am selling a 1997 Mercury Mountaineer. This car does run, although it has some mechanical issues that need to be worked on. We think that a pulley in the compressor has come loose, which makes a tremendous noise, but vehicle still runs, stays cool, etc. This has been a good vehicle to me, but I drive a lot, and needed something a little smaller, more gas efficient and newer. It has some smaller dents and some scratches, but generally the body looks alright. The tires are ok, brakes are ok, transmission could use a tune-up. AC runs cold if you recharge with one of those small cans once every 2 months or so during the hottest months. I really think this vehicle has a lot more miles in it with a little love and attention. Very low reserve. Must be paid for and picked up within 7 days of end of auction, please.
