You are bidding on a very stock and very original 1984 VW GTI I purchased this car from the original owner in Florida and have owned it for 2 years. Car was professionally shipped from FL to NH in April 2010. Since purchase, the car has only been driven in the Summer (stored every fall, winter & spring without exception) Car has red interior and exterior (le3c) and is original right down to the factory original floor mats and un-ripped shift boot. One of the nicest you see and one of the very few remaining that has not been modded, dumped, dropped, swapped etc. and even the AC still blows ice cold! Recent Work Done Inspected until April 2013 Valve Cover Gasket (7/11) Rebuilt shifter mechanism (incl. bushings, lever, both shift rods, and shift lever bearing) (5/10) Bilstein HD Front Struts (5/10) 2 Upper Strut Mounts (5/10) Dash and rear parcel shelf were cut by previous owner for this suped up stereo (Everything has been removed (all wiring, speakers and stereo) as I was searching for OEM radio and shelf) Also included with the sale Original Window Sticker Original 1984 Warranty & Maintenance Book Bentley & Hayes Repair Manual Extra Dash Bezel to replace cut one currently in car 2 additional Snowflake wheels with stickered Pirelli's (Wheels were purchased by the original owner from the dealer when the car was purchased and have never been on the car!) I am not a salesman and have tried to be 100% honest and speak to the car to the best of my ability. Although I would have no hesitation using this car as a daily driver, it is almost 30 years old and does have its blemishes. There are some rust spot and paint chips however I have tried to photograph or document them in the listing.
