Vehicle Detail
1997 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT Laramie Cummins Turbo Diesel 12 Valve Up for auction we have a 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 powered by the legendary 12 valve 5.9 liter Cummins turbo diesel engine. We are starting the auction at $ 100 and with no reserve! The truck is two wheel drive (not 4x4). It is an extended cab short bed. It has the "SLT Laramie" package, so it has power options. It has air conditioning that works. The power windows and door locks work. It has a tilt steering wheel and cruise control. It has the factory Am/Fm radio with cassette player. It has a tinted rear windows and a rear sliding window. The truck is also equipped with an exhaust brake and rear air bags have been added to the suspension. The truck was originally from out west and the body and undercarriage both look like the truck did not spend much time in the northeast. The body is in good shape with the exception of faded paint on the hood and roof and normal dings and scratches that you would expect with a 15 year old truck. The interior is in good condition as well. The dash is not cracked or broken which is a common dodge problem. The drivers side seat is ripped from getting in and out. The truck starts right up and runs great. It drives down the road good. The main problem with the truck is that the truck does not shift into overdrive. I have done some reading online and found out that this is a fairly common problem and may be an easy fix for the right person. Also sometimes the fuel shutoff solenoid must be manually pushed in so the truck can start. If you have the ability to fix those problems, this will be a great truck and should last for many many years. If you have any questions feel free to call my partner Jamie at (603) 571-2277, the truck belongs to him and he would be happy to answer any of your questions. The truck is located in Derry, New Hampshire (about 40 minutes north of Boston,MA). If you live close by, you are more than welcome to come and check out the truck before you bid on it. Thank you for viewing our auction and have a happy independence day! -Mike We have a clean and clear New Hampshire title for this truck in hand.
