Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a 1991 Ford F250 4x4. In the last thousand miles (approximate) it has had the E40D transmission overhauled. The transmission is still under warranty. It was a complete overhaul with a new torque converter and an auxillary trans. cooler installed. It has four almost new BFG all terrain tires (33"). When I put the tires on I put them on 4 new aluminum wheels. The tires still have the nubs on them and are filled with nitrogen. The wheels shine like new when clean. The engine has appoximately five thousand miles on an overhaul. It runs stong and does not burn oil. The truck has had a few u-joints in the last thousand miles as well. It has power windows. The exhaust is almost new from the catalytic converter back. The interior is clean and in good condition. Seating for 6 in the cab. The body is showing some age with paint peel, rust, dings, fade, what ever, as you would expect in a 20 plus year old vehicle, however it is still better than 9 out of 10 that you see. It is a respectable looking vehicle. The underside does not have a lot of rust. The left cab corner is the worst of the rust and I have a new one to go with the truck. The mileage is 116,829 and the truck was driven mostly in good weather. The truck is in generally good condition and was on the road until recently when I bought a new more effecient truck for long trips. This truck gets around 10 miles per gallon. It's good for occasional local use but everyday long distance use gets expensive. Some things that could use attention or not dependent on new owner choice; the air conditioning is not working due to a leaking line. I did not use it enough worry about fixing it. The rear gas tank is inoperable. One time when I payed too much in advance at the gas station, I crammed too much into the front gas tank and it leaked on the hose or top of the tank. That only happened once but I wanted to mention it. It could use the egr valve capped off or replaced to fix a rough cold idle, not a big deal works but could be improved. This has been a good solid truck for me that I put a lot of work into. The expensive repairs have been made. It is old and used so it is sold strictly AS- IS. It is the new owners responsibility after the sale. Ask any questions you might have.
