With some cash burning a whole in my pocket and a Saturday morning schedule open, I went to look at this classy classic benz. I was met by a very nice, young woman with bounds of energy. She was motivated. I was not. She put the deal thru and I drove the benz home. It was a pleasant ride. Not a lot of traffic and plenty of room to maneuver the classic merc home. You can't ask for much more on a Saturday morning. Cool car, cool drive, lots of smiles… The paint is now silver over what used to be a navy blue. It's got some chips and scrapes. It looks like the benz got hit in the back at some point. There is a of beautiful rims, tires and caps in the trunk that go with the car. There is a little rust on the underside and apparently the exhaust is new. It has an electric fuel pump and rebuilt carbs. You have to plug in the pump before you can go anywhere. It's a fun car. Starts, stops and steers. It's a little bit rough around the edges. Definitely has the 'project that you can drive' vibe going here. The Compression is low on cylinders 2 and 4 according to the previous owner. Please ask your questions and I will load this on a truck and send it to you. Thanks
