1977 AMC Pacer, 258 6 cylinder, automatic, P/S, P/B, A/C car. Bought new in Decatur, AL. Engine and transmission appear to have been rebuilt, mileage unknown. New carb (2 bbl carter), battery, starter, motor mounts, exhaust manifold. Upgraded to GM HEI distributor (original AMC distributor goes with car). P/S leaks, A/C not working, door hinge pins worn (new set go with car). Odometer showing 18500 miles, but actual mileage is unknown, and in excess of mechanical limits (over 100K miles). Originally Burgundy with Red interior, now spray painted black. Car runs and is street legal, but needs tires and front suspension work. Floors have been patched (rust), and rear panel and firewall are rusty. All glass is intact, but windshield has chips in it. I have too many projects going on right now; something has to go. Car is located in Monrovia area of Madison County, AL (ZIP 35757), and is for sale locally. I reserve the right to end the auction early and sell the car locally.
