...Here it is, the one you have been waiting for, a stock never modified numbers matching adult owned and driven 2000 Honda Civic Si with under a 100k miles (mileage is not exact see below for details)...Lowest price anywhere for an Si in this condition... Why am I selling you ask: Simple, I just do not need the car anymore... What shape is the vehicle in: Vehicle is in great mechanical condition...I use it as a daily driver and it runs great getting 32mpg all day long...Power windows, power locks, cruise, power moonroof, power brakes, power steering all function like new...Since owning the car I have replaced the following (6K miles on all parts) All replaced with OEM factory Honda parts where applicable:Timing Belt / Water pumpMotor MountsFront / Rear Brake PadsFront / Rear Rotors (rear are Brembo)Goodyear EaglesDriver side weather stripping, window channel, and power window regulator New Carpet (Auto Custom Carpet) in black...Why black, I think it looks better compared to the original grey...Honda Civic EX front / rear seats (keep reading for the explanation why...I still have the Si seats and will be happy to include them with the car)Honda Civic EX instrument cluster (keep reading for the explanation I have a mint low milage, 68k Si cluster that I will include with the sale)Steering column (keep reading explanation is coming)Majority of the interior plastic to include arm rest...all new Honda O2 sensorsRear wheel bearing / hub assembly (both sides)Muffler Now for the body...All panels are original (VIN stickers in place) with the exception of the passenger side front fender...Now, when I bought the car from the dealer the Car Fax came back clean indicating no accidents...One vehicle reporting service indicates an accident on the right side of the vehicle (would explain the new fender)...I and my mechanic have been over every inch of this car, and with the exception of the fender there is no sign of any other damage e.g. unibody, core support, etc...Car holds an alignment, tracks perfect with zero vibration / deflection, frankly, it is one of the best riding small cars I have driven...Parts of the vehicle have been resprayed and not very well I might add, was like this when I bought it, it never bothered me as the car looks good and I was looking for originality in terms of mechanical function, plus its a dark colored Honda, show me one from that era that has not been touched up... Now, as promised, the steering column / seats...Soon after I purchased the car I had a Ravelco anti-theft system installed and not more than a week later, the car was broken into with an attempt made at stealing it...The Ravelco stopped them cold but did not prevent the would be thieves from taking out their frustration on the car...The steering column was smashed, the instrument cluster stolen, the moon roof cover was slightly torn and other interior items damaged...but they did not get the car...Everything needed to get the car back on the road was replaced at a local Honda dealer (steering column, ignition, etc...) Regarding the seats...I was at a local boneyard looking around when a mint 2000 EX was dropped off, literally, this was the proverbial little old ladies car...It had been totaled in a rear end collision but the interior was Mint, Mint, Mint...I got the seats and instrument cluster for a song and installed them in my Si...I did not want to risk getting another break in and having the Si cluster stolen again (they are exceedingly difficult to find and the one I will include with the sale took a long time to locate) and I always liked the EX seats better for the daily commute (have the Si seats and will include if the buyer wants them)....In the process of installing the seats I decided to replace the carpet and went with an ACC Black carpet that is of better quality then stock and looks great...In terms of mileage, I purchased the car with 91k, drove it for 5k prior to the theft, and have put just about 4k on the replacement cluster (EX) hence the car has just under 100k... I purchased the car from a dealer in New Jersey, the car previously having been owned by a mother of young children (based on the amount of dried french fries, soda, and other assorted trinkets I removed from under the back seat when replacing the carpet / interior)...Car shows no signs of abuse, VTEC works and sounds great, all fluids have been changed with Honda OEM replacing...Oil has been changed with Castrol EF (German Castrol, look it up on the web)... Bottom line, car looks good runs great...Is it perfect no its not, but what 12 year old Civic is...and with a reserve price that is well under Blue Book, someone is going to get a great deal...As stated I simply do not need the vehicle any more and need to let someone else enjoy it... On Jun-24-12 at 13:34:08 PDT, seller added the following information: Alright...I see the Vehicle History Report here on ebay states Fame / Unibody damage was reported at an Auto Auction...Yet the same report states no accidents, explain this one...When I bought the car the Car Fax was clean...The car shows no signs of any Frame / Unibody damage as stated in the description, alignment is great, car tracks straight at speed, quiet with no vibration, steering wheel shake etc...I believe the report to be in error...in fact it contradicts itself...In addition, the title is clean...
