This is probably the neatest, original, unrestored 1946 1/2 ton ford pickup in the country. I bought it from a cattle rancher in OK who couldn't keep it running reliably and he purchased it from the original Kansas farmer. I believe the Kansas plate I have on the tail gate is the original! I never intended to sell this truck for very personal an sentimental reasons, but my health and financial condition forces this sale. My intention was to revive this truck and my story about this will be featured in the next issue of Vintage Truck Magazine...in August I believe. My reserve is the actual money I have invested in this revival. I someone wishes to pull fenders, etc. and restore this truck, it would make a neat candidate. I will not sell it to anyone intending to resto mod or hotrod it. I'm including a few pics. The patina in this 30 year old repaint and the sharp appearance is outstanding from about 20 feet. Like me at 70 years old, up close, it has a few minor defects. As it appears and runs now after my major tune up, it is a real head turner. I also bought two new white wall Cokers and tubes for the front wheels and the 5 hubcaps are also new and correct. The glass in the windhield and doors are original (see closeup of right windshield).
