1974 BMW 2002tii with new cold A/C, original window sticker and most documentation since new. Verona Red over black interior sold new in North Carolina, and has been in Florida since 1978 according to records. Frame off restoration sometime in the 1990’s and I just refreshed over the past year with over $13,000 in receipts which includes $4600 in rust repair to the trunk, shock towers, passenger floor board, driverside rocker, and passenger side firewall. Unlike most other 2002's, all of the rust has been taken care of. Below is a list of the major stuff I have done to it: - Re-upholstered Recaro Seats from a later BMW 3 series - New factory style carpet and backing - New A/C compressor, evaporator, center console, a/c lines - New side marker, tail light, License Plate, front Euro Turn Signal Lenses - New Windshield and Gasket - New Ansa sport muffler - New belts, fluids changed Car was driven daily before I bought it from a fellow enthusiast in Oct 2010, and since it has been back from the shop in Feb 2012, I have been driving it on a regular basis. This car has been sorted out both mechanically and structurally and can be driven across the country in the comfort of cold A/C. 13 inch tires have under 5k miles on them and were put on in 2009. Cosmetically, older repaint is holding up nicely after a full clay bar and wax. There are some blemishes in the paint but as a nice solid driver did not warrant a repaint. For the future owner, a repaint and early bumper swap would be on my to do list, as well as a 5 Speed upgrade, Limited slip differential and bigger wheels and tires. As many of you know, the modifications are endless on these cars. BMW made the 2002tii from 1972 thru 1974. Out of the 112,524 total 2002’s sold in the US, only 7449 were tii’s. It is a mechanically fuel injected 2002, that produces 130 horsepower, 30hp more than the carbureted version. They specialize in BMW 2002’s and work on many of them in the Central Florida area. They also work on all of my German cars, which include a 1995 Porsche 911, 1988 BMW M3 and a 1999 BMW M Coupe. Thus this is why I am selling the 2002tii, I can’t drive all of them and I need to drive the E30 M3 more than I do!!
