Vehicle Detail

This is my 1991 Ford F150. It is a RWD 5 speed with the 302 V8, and it has just under 102k. I have had it for 3 years and have put over $5k into her. I use a spreadsheet to keep track of everything that has been done, so feel free to message me and I can forward that to you. I also have copies of all the maintenance records. Here are some of the highlights: Converted from EFI to Carb set-up Holley 4160 carb Weiand Intake Pro Comp 1.7 Rockers Pro Comp distributor Ford Racing wires Pace Setter headers Custom bent true dual exhaust with Magnaflow catalytic converters and Dynomax glass packs Exeddy Clutch Rebuilt rear with Richmond 3.83 gears Dunlop 31" tires American Racing wheels Pro Comp shocks Summit Racing cross drilled and slotted rotors Song Xplod head unit, 4-way speakers, 600 watt amp, and 1100 watt subwoofer Custom seat cover Grant steering wheel Billet grill, hood scoops, aftermarket tail lights Lund headlight covers, side deflectors, and rear window deflector And more...ask for the full spreadsheet. I was basically redoing this truck from the inside out, leaving the paint and bed for last. Here are a few things that I would have done if I could keep her: Replace bed - she tangled with some farm equipment under the tenure of her previous owner (see pictures). Paint - 21 year old paint is faded on the roof and is peeling from the hood (see pictures). Header wrap - the Pace Setter headers did a great job at adding low end torque, but I was not impressed with their durability. I had them professionally sand blasted, painted, and baked but they still started to rust on the outside. I would have wrapped them in high heat wrap and given them some VHT on top of that (see picture). Oil Dipstick - it somehow got bent and doesn't seat correctly into the oil pan. It shot out some oil as a result, but pretty cheap part. Leveling spacers - I added leveling spacers on the front end so the truck would sit level. There isn't anything wrong with the way the truck drives or rides, but I just wasn't happy with the quality of the polyurethane so I would have eventually removed them in place of leveling springs. Passenger side mirror - someone in a parking lot lacked situational awareness and walked into the passenger side mirror. I was not happy. It is still attached, but is loose. Door lock actuator - left side needs replaced. Inspection - I let it run out after I bought my new truck (April). I never had any trouble getting it to pass. Basically, I needed to upgrade to a 4 door vehicle and purchased a new crew cab truck. This ol' Ford has been my baby for several years and I have taken great pride and pleasure in owning and working on her. Unfortunately, I no longer have a place to keep her or work on her, so I have to say my sad goodbye. Though she is getting old and needs a thing or two, she has a lot of life left in her and would be a great work truck or toy for someone. As with any 21 year old truck, there are some loose ends and it is not in show room condition, but overall it is a very sturdy vehicle and I would have no qualms about jumping in it right now and riding to California (she's already been to Georgia and back with no issues). Please take the time to ask questions before you bid. I will answer with complete honesty, as I have nothing to hide here. I tried to outline its issues and take pictures to reflect its condition, but I would still recommend that you see it for yourself first. No warranty is expressed or implied and the sale is final. My hope is that it will go to someone that can take as much pride in her as I have. This truck will be missed. On Jun-13-12 at 13:21:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Response to questions: The two glasspacks currently dump out under the bed. I never decided whether I wanted to go the rest of the way to the rear or do turnouts, so I left them as they were. The truck passed inspection the past few years as "emissions exempt" because I drove it less than 5,000 miles each year.
