It's not beautiful, but it'll get the job done and won't break the bank. It was owned by an older gentleman the last 4 years and used as daily transportation. The truck has nice Michelin tires, cold air, and a matching topper. It hasn't been smoked in, runs super strong, drives easy and should be very reliable. We were told before taking it in, that the head needed done. It now has all new gaskets, fresh plugs, wires, oil, filter, and tuneup. These trucks are very durable, and I actually have owned one just like it for my owner personal truck the last 6 years. exterior This truck is in decent shape. It's probably all original, hasn't seen a lot of road salt, but the back ends on these in particular are susceptible to rust, definitely present on this one, and also a bit on the drivers door lower seam. The frame and undercarriage aren't all crusty like vehicles from back east or great lakes. The truck has decent wheels and nice Michelin tires with good tread. They ride great. The doors all open and close easily, tailgate, and topper struts functional. The truck has some dings, scratches, paint on the roof and hood are faded, not beautiful, but that goes with the age/price and mileage. interior The interior is pretty clean. It hasn't been smoked in and it smells pleasant. The air blows cold and stereo sounds fine. Pretty simple otherwise, not much to break. The carpet and upholstery have some wear, drivers door vinyl is well seasoned, normal aging consistent with mileage, but it's comfy and fine to drive. mechanical This little pickup runs out great! My personal B2600 has about 150k on it and this one actually runs out better, has more power too. It's very easy to drive, idles smooth, doesn't smoke, or burn oil. It idles smooth, clutch and trans feel great, no check engine lights. This B26 has new oil, filter, spark plugs, wires, new intake gaskets, exhaust manifold gasket, valve cover gasket, new head gasket, thermostat, and a few other little bits here and there.
