Up for auction is this very nice special deluxe 4 door sedan. This is a basic daily driver, not an absolute show car but presents very well. This car starts, runs, drives and stops good. I have been driving around and have never had any trouble with it. Engine rebuilt a few years back and you can tell by the way it runs, starts instantly with no smoking ever, not when starting, idling or when you rev it up and let off. It idles every so smoothly. Handles nicely too, no rattles or shimmying at any speed. An absolute joy to drive. It has a 3.9 highspeed rearend so it will go 70mph on the interstate. Drove it 150 miles home and kept up with freeway traffic. Radiator has been redone so always runs cool no matter how hot it is out. Never saw the temperature gauge over 170. The starter, generator, wheel cylinders, brake linings, master cylinder, fuel pump, water pump all have been rebuilt. The clutch, pressure plate and throw out replaced when the engine was rebuilt. It shifts smoothly with no chattering. It has an older paint job in the original color. There are a few imperfections here and there but is presentable and shines nicely. The bumpers have both been rechromed. The rest of the chrome is very nice.(see pics) This glass is all good with the exception of the drivers glass that has a crack. The windows all roll up & down nicely. All the original interior is intact. Beautiful 'juke box' dash. All gauges work correctly. The heater fan blows in all 3 positions. The wipers work well and very fast. Even the spotlight works. The headlights work on high and low beam along with the brakelights and taillights. The horn blows and the e-brake works. There is an extra set of points and a condenser in the glove box & comes with 4 new door panels and enough new mohair upholstry to redo the entire interior.(see pics) The owners manual and shop manual included. The tires have good tread with very minor checking. It has nice red rims and shiney hubcaps. It is a real sharp looking car. It has new rear shocks. This car is ready to drive away or have transported. This car has no known issues. I have loved driving this car. It is fun just cruising around & it gets lots of looks and the thumbs up when driving. It is a very affordable car with a reserve less than $5000. The car is currently stored in a garage and can remain there for up to 30 days to allow for pick up or transportation. The arrangement and payment of pick up or transportation is the responsibility of the buyer.
