Up for auction is this very distinguished 1936 Buick 4 door sedan. The car has a straight 8 engine with a 3 spd on the floor manual transmission. The car starts right up, the tranny shifts smooth, the brakes stop the car, however, at this time when braking it pulls hard to the right. So the brakes will need adjusting. The body has what appears to be the orignal paint! The interior is all original and intact! The body is solid as a rock with 'zero' rust through. It does have a few small dings but definately nothing major. It is amazingly solid throughout, even in the rust prone areas on the trunk edge and bottom edge of the trunk.(see pics) The car will need either the radiator, engnie flushed or thermostat replaced, because it tends to run warm now & then. It will steam a little when you turn it off, but starts back up good even when warm. It will need the windshield glass replaced due to separation. All other glass is oringinal and OK with the one drivers side window having a crack. The windows do roll up & down, but not all real smooth. Some windows could use some lubrication. The grill is in excellent condition.(see pics) The bumpers are fair and could stand rechroming. The tires are radial, with the original rims. The rims and car still have the original pinstriping! The dash is in nice shape, with no extra holes. All the gauges work along with the speedometer, headlights and taillights. It can be started right up and driven to meet a transport. And the car does not smoke! This car has been stored in a dry garage since 1964. So in review: the car starts right up without smoking, stops good, but pulls hard to the right. All the glass is intact with a rock solid body & a complete original interior. This is a very stately looking front end with a near perfect grill. You could drive as is with original patina or make an excellent candidate for a restoration because it is so complete and solid. There have not been many of these on Ebay. The car can remain in our storage for up to 30 days to allow for arrangement of pickup or transportation. The arrangement & payment of transportation is the buyers responsibility.
