It runs great, drives great, and looks great, and the attention it gets is extreme! This Fastback is a great investment and a fun car to drive and enjoy. From the engine compartment to the trunk and everywhere in between, this is a clean car. Take a look at the impressive list of Features that this car is equipped with: · Strong Running 289 Engine · 4 Barrel Carburetor · C-4 Automatic Transmission · Torque Thrust Wheels · New Dual Exhaust · New Power Disk Brakes Front and Rear · Luxury Bucket Interior Trim - Black in Color · Automatic Transmission - XP Type · Non Locking 3.00 Rear Axle · Safety Convenience Control Panel · Both Decor Groups · Deluxe Seat Belts · Power Steering · Upper and Lower Consoles · Candy apple Red Exterior Paint PLEASE DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS AVAILABLE TO COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION The following will be adscription of each area of the car, being as in-depth and accurate as possible. Please keep in mind that this is a classic car that is over 45 years old, and although I will describe everything as best I can, some small items may have been overlooked. BODY: The body on this A-code '67 Pony Fastback is absolutely gorgeous, restored to Original Candy Apple Red with Black Deluxe Interior. This was somebody's baby and it did not see winter driving and as a result did not accumulate rust and it appears to be wearing its original body panels. When a previous owner owned the car years ago, it became a labor of love and was taken to a professional restoration shop for the final body and paint work. I think you will agree that it still looks amazing 12 years later. The only flaws I can think of to mention are a few very tiny paint bubbles on the LH quarter panel that have not broken the paint and perhaps a tiny chip or two that should be touched up. Otherwise this car is straight and weekend warrior show ready. Chrome front bumper and most of the trim, emblems, etc look fantastic, with the exception of some pitting on the door handles and back bumper. Glass is all Carlite and is in great condition and windows roll up nicely. The previous owner only drove this car to the shows and cruise ins. It is still local car show worthy and can also be driven and enjoyed. INTERIOR: The interior features the deluxe black appointments, and both decor groups. The upper console is in remarkable shape. The map lights are not working and the map buttons should be replaced for show. The lower console is in great shape at well and features a cd player without modifying the radio hole. The carpet, dash pad, deluxe door panels, etc. all present well. ENGINE / MECHANICS: The 289 engine appears to be original and runs strong and fast! The car starts very easily, gobs of power, and runs strong and smooth. The engine compartment is very clean, and maintains the original appearance. The C-4 automatic transmission shifts very strong and smooth. Front power disc brakes and rear disc brakes. The suspension gives a nice comfortable ride and is responsive to the touch. The car runs and drives fantastic. Fly in and drive home this mechanically sound automobile. TRUNK The trunk area is very clean, and looks like new. The original jack is present. No issues here, the pictures of the car speak for themselves. TITLE The title is free and clear and in my hand. AXLE TRANS I RECENTLY ACQUIRED THIS UNIQUE PONY FROM THE OWNER WHO BOUGHT IT 8 YEARS AGO. HE KEPT IT GARAGED AND METICULOUSLY MAINTAINED. DURING THIS TIME, HE ADDED THE 4 WHEEL POWER DISC BRAKES FOR MASSIVE STOPPING POWER AND SAFETY. HE ALSO ADDED THE TORQUE THRUST WHEELS. THE 10 DISC CD PLAYER WAS ADDED FOR LISTENING ENJOYMENT. THE OWNER BEFORE HIM HAD THE MUSTANG PROFESSIONALLY RESTORED KEEPING IT EXTREMELY ORIGINAL AND FINISHED IN ITS ORIGINAL, CANDY-APPLE RED. BODY IS STRAIGHT AND PAINT QUALITY IS FANTASTIC FOR A 12 YEAR OLD RESTORATION. INTERIOR APPEARS TO BE ORIGINAL AND IS IN AMAZING CONDITION. THE A-CODE 289 V8 WAS REBUILT ALONG WITH THE C-4 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. THE UNDERCARRIAGE AND INSIDE OF TRUNK APPEAR TO BE ORIGINAL AND ROCK SOLID!! THIS PONY RUNS GREAT AND IS READY TO SHOW OR GO!! IF YOU HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A TRULY SPECIAL, INVESTMENT QUALITY MUSTANG FASTBACK THEN YOU MAY HAVE FINALLY FOUND THE ONE! I WILL DO MY BEST TO PROVIDE ENOUGH PICTURES SO YOU CAN DECIDE IF THIS IS THE PONY THAT BELONGS IN YOUR STABLE...SIT BACK AND ENJOY! Slide into the Black Deluxe Interior of this highly optioned Fastback and you will feel like you are back in time. Black Deluxe bucket seats are in fantastic condition and believed to be original. Sport deck rear seat looks great. Original center console in amazing condition for the age as is the carpeting and headliner. The only aftermarket add-ons appear to be the CD player and kick panel speakers, and white face gauges which are in the restoration pictures. This car has the deluxe seat belts and courtesy light group. Really not too much to pick on the interior but if I had to I would mention minor fading on the dash brushed aluminum and the instrument bezel is black instead of the correct brushed aluminum. The 4 safety convenience control panel lights appear not to be working at this time. Overall the interior presents very well. Have a look around: This A-code Fastback has its 289-4V motor under the hood. The production date of the car is March 9, 1967. The motor is strong and stock, breathing out chrome headers back through the dual exhaust. Nice low pony rumble. The 3.00 Conventional Rear Axle plants the power to the ground. Power Disc Brakes were added to the front as well as the rear for safety and incredible stopping power. She starts with the turn of the key, idles up a bit while warming up, slap the accelerator one time and she idles down nice and smooth. Power steering and brakes for a true driving experience. The car is in need of a power steering belt. Engine bay was neatly detailed and looks great. Torque Thrust wheels and tires are in great shape. This Pony is fun to drive and runs cool. Undercarriage is also rock solid and was lightly undercoated at the time of restoration just as it was according to the original dealer invoice in 1967. Inside of the trunk is very original and also quite solid. Here is a look: PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU ARE SERIOUS!!Your bid is a binding contract to buy this vehicle.
