Vehicle Detail
I am selling a meticulously prepared and maintained WRX wagon that I bought new in 2002. I am the original and sole owner. I built this car over many years and have maintained it relentlessly. Although the car is originally from Canada, it has seen only one and one half winters and has 220 400 kilometers on the clock, which converts to just 137 000 miles. It also means that the car has heated front seats, heated mirrors and roof rails for cargo carriers. I have a color matched Thule cargo carrier, in excellent condition, for sale for an additional $400.00. The list of modifications is extensive, they were chosen with great care and much research, and executed with great attention to detail. The car is mechanically excellent and the body is very good. It does not burn oil, nor does it smoke and the compression is within spec in all cylinders. There is a brand new (less than 200 miles) Bully performance clutch and a brand new battery as well as new front brake pads and fresh DOT 4. A list of most of the modifications is as follows. Drive Train: Tec 18g fully serviceable turbo, Walbro 255 l/hr fuel pump, STi 565 cc injectors, Perrin fuel rails, APS top mount intercooler with Samco turbo outlet hose and STi hood scoop and splitter, Vishnu up pipe and turbo back exhaust with hi performance cat, Koyo Racing radiator with Samco hose kit. As well, the car has an Ecutek ECU with dual boost maps and makes approximately 370 hp and 335 lbs/ft of torque at the crank, reliably, at 19.58 psi max high boost on 91 octane gas. Max low boost is 15.95 psi. Dyno graphs available on request. Chassis: DMS 40 ml coilovers at all four corners with 225 lb springs in front and 185 lb springs at the rear and DMS adjustable top mounts in the front, STi Group N topmounts in the rear, Whiteline anti lift kit, Whiteline 22 ml rear swaybar with serviceable aluminum endlinks, Stoptech Big Brake kit in the front with 4 pot calipers, 12.9" two piece floating rotors and steel braided brake lines, STi two pot rear calipers with DBS rotors and Goodridge steel braided brake lines. Rota 17" SDR rims with Dunlop D207 Starspec 225/45/17's with about 70% tread left. I also had an ABS kill switch installed (for deep snow or deep gravel). Other: Morette HID's with fully selectable low/high/fog lights, Subaru Gauge Pack including boost/oil temp/volt meter, tinted windows, Lachute short throw shifter. As well, I have the OE headlights and OE shocks, all in working condition. This car represents a considerable investment in time, resources, spirit and energy. This car goes, stops and turns, and although it is fast, I do not race the car and I have treated it with a lot of mechanical sympathy. It is mechanically excellent, with minor cosmetic blemishes that are normal for this model year. As well, the original dealer installed window tint is beginning to bubble on two of the windows. As tints have improved since these were installed, it would, at any rate, be good to replace them now.
