1973 Buick Riviera, last of the “boat tails”. This car has is all, class and muscle. 455ci V8, 4 barrel carb, white interior with black carpet. Power windows, front and back, power driver’s seat, cruise, A/C, automatic. I bought the car in 2004 from my uncle who owned it for 20 years prior to that. The body is solid except for a couple places on the roof where the old white vinyl top was holding moisture and caused a couple holes in the roof. (See pics) There is also a little blistering around the bottom edge of the trunk lid as well. The dark places on the car are places the paint started to peel when my uncle owned the car and he put grease over it to keep moisture out and prevent rusting. The car is solid other than the small holes in the roof and the trunk lid. The car has been parked in my pole barn since the summer of 2009. Brand new tires put on about a month before I parked the car. The engine runs as smooth as silk, I start it and let it run for about 15 minutes once a month. Also, reverse doesn’t work very well, probably from sitting so long because it worked fine when I parked it. I bought the car with the intent to restore it, but right now I need the money more than I need the car. Have a lot of medical bills, and not enough money.
