Vehicle Detail

1978 International Scout II 4X4 with a 400 small block, raised, with a ridiculous stereo. Suspension- 33 inch tires, 5 inch body lift heavy duty shocks with nerf bars and roll bar- this thing was a rock crawling machine and we converted it to street machine when it was purchased. i also changed the gears fo 388 to a 410 Engine- the original 304 was replaced with a 400 small block with a four barrel and it is much faster. i kept the original trans and rear end and just bought the conversion kit. interior- I had new carpet, roll bars, and differnt seats. there are seatbelts for 4 Stereo-a $6000 stereo installed by Autosound of lexington. It is so loud with the top off you can barely turn it up!. It also has a receiver capable of satelite radio and an iphone hook up already installed with a cradle- it has two 12 inch competition JL Audio W6 woofers in a competition box, a 250/1 JL AMP under the seat shown in the picture, 350/2 JL AMP under the seat shown in the picture, 2 JL Audio 6x9's, 2 JL Audio 6 inch and a Clairon DXZ725 receiver Exterior- the previous owner has the entire under carriage sprayed with about 1/2 of under coating so there is little to no rust underneath. I had the chrome wheels added. I painted it from its orinial color to yellow then decided to chagne the color again to Viper Blue, it has non-functioning double hood scoops just for looks. I have kept this vehicle indoors and garage kept under a car cover since 2004. It has no top currently as the Scout II tops were removable. I do have a hard top and soft top I am including with the auction. The hardtop has been painted black and does have the sliding vented windows on each side and a hatch back rear window. The soft top is missing a few parts that can be ordered, I just keep the hard top on for winter and take it off making a convertible in the summer. If you are looking an incredible machine to drive out with friends this is it. We drive this thing so it is not a trailer queen so do not expect perfection in any area listed but it's awesome. I get thumbs up from every little boy under the age of 5. If you want to see the vehicle in person it is located in lexington, KY 40511. I will end the auction early for cash buyers. If you want to ask me any serious question please call me directly at 859-621-5966. I have over $26,000 invested in this thing and it can make your summer. It has a couple of small problems. gas gauge does not work and glove box latch is broken but both are easy fixes. other than that you can drive it any where. Oh yeah and the bull horns are free!
