This sale is for my 1976 TR6 with Overdrive and Factory Hardtop. This car has undergone an extensive professional restoration over the last seven years and has been painstakely given the highest quality standard to original specification. I started with an original owner Arizona car with 37K original miles. I have all of the factory documentation, including original window sticker, Certificate of Factory record, by British Heritage Trust. I have spent in excess of $54,000, not counting my personal time and efforts. The car was always rust and dent free and have photos of the body restoration, Everything, has been rebuilt and a factory OVERDIVE was installed. Trust me, The cars without the overdrive are not even close. The level of detail in this car is amazing, As an example, one nice Rebuilt TR6 recently sold for 28K had a lot of reproduction parts,including the steering wheel and seat belts... I wanted to bring this car to the highest standards, a partial list of NOS, not Reproduction parts include: Steering Wheel and SEAT BELTS- try to find these anywhere.. it took me 6 years...New owner can install the one shown in photo. NOS Brushed Aluminum wheel trim rings.NOS Speedo- ZERO miles. NOS rubber bumper overiders, speakers with sides, taillights, many, many more, i have detailed lists and documenetation.. also and original out the wooden box- NOS wood dash Facia-impossible to find...all chrome was triple-plated by "Pauls Chrome" The best... a complete nos top and frame from "Sports & Classics- $2150- very rare...i have additional photos of the body with paint works- by Concours Paint works- This car runs and looks like new..... They only do British cars and have been around for 40 years.. again the best! I also had all Black engine components "power coated" ie, engine mounting brackets, under neath splash guard, many, many small items, this is where the detail is noticed by TR6 pros..also the TR6 Factory Hardtop is better that new, over $3,500 to restore--I even had it insulated to reduce noise..the little details count! INTERIOR COMPLETED by British Heritage- seats rebuilt- wilton wool carpet- all newOn Jun-04-12 at 19:27:48 PDT, seller added the following information: An email asked? Any flaws in the paint...? The entire car is scratch and dent free.... there is absoultley no chips, flaws, blemishes anywhere. The paint works alone was 9,000 on a perfect body to begin with. I also installed NOS factory rear shocks, I had the carbs polished and rebuilt..... all lights and instrumentation work as factory spec..I have the original jack and all related hardware... spare has never been on the ground. I have been trying to locate a NOS choke knob after 7 years, no luck.. the one on it is original and is a 8.... I did not want to use an aftermarket.. they do not look right..also, forgot to mention the seat belt stalks are both NOS original out of the bag British Leyland part as is the NOS luggage rack..I still have the box it came in, will go with the car... several other examples of similar partsOn Jun-05-12 at 10:24:44 PDT, seller added the following information: I have descibed this vehicle as accurately and honestly as possible.
