Vehicle Detail

RUSTFREE 2002 Ford F250 work truck from South Carolina THE VEHICLE: 2002 Ford F-250 XL. Basic work truck with roll-up windows and vinyl floors. 5.4-liter Triton V8 starts easily and runs great. Automatic transmission with column shift. 137" wheelbase. C2 axle code translates to 4.10:1 limited slip. Rustfree Oxford white body with grey interior.  Air conditioning works well and blows cold. No bed/tailgate/taillights/rear bumper; ready for you to install a standard 8' bed, custom flatbed, dump bed, stake bed, utility body, etc. Single rear wheel (it's NOT a dually). Comes with two sets of wheels - the standard steel wheels with spare that were on the truck when I bought it, and a set of three XLT-trim level aluminum wheels with a steel fourth and spare (this spare has a blown tire). So to be clear here, you're getting ten wheels (three of them aluminum) and tires. Most tires are pretty thin; they hold air and are worn pretty evenly so they drive fine but probably wouldn't pass inspection due to thin tread depth. No oil/antifreeze/atf/axle leaks that I can see. The windshield is cracked. No cracks in the dash or doorpanels, the instrument cluster lens is nice and clean and clear, and even the seats and floor clean up pretty nice. I haven't really cleaned the truck much (swept out the floor, wiped down the dash with a wet rag, and washed the body) so it should clean up. But it even looks good as it sits, as you can see in the images below. Starts, runs, steers, brakes, etc. nicely, but there is a vibration at around 35 mph that hasn't been investigated. The truck was used in its current condition just fine - the vibration appears only at around 35mph, but isn't present at speeds below or above that. Runs, rides, and drives smoothly at highway speeds. NO rust on this truck as it was a South Carolina truck until I bought it in March - it's still on the South Carolina title, as a matter of fact. And I left a couple of the SC decals on the back window to drive home the point that it's a Southern truck. Cab corners, notorious for rust on Superduties? This truck is dead solid there and everywhere else. Even the frame seems to have no rust. It does have a coating of southern red-clay dust, which I wiped off of the passenger side behind the cab (as seen in photos) so that you can see that it cleans up easily and well. Looks like some orangey paint or glue or something dripped down the rear of the cab. No radio. Windows, lights, horn, heat, etc. all seem to work well.  Paint on the front bumper has some scratches and fading, and it also has a couple dings/dents - it was a work truck afterall. But that's easy to fix - just straighten and repaint the bumper if it bothers you. Interior is in remarkably good shape for a work truck - even the cupholder mechanism works and isn't cracked. Comes with owner's manual, warranty book, cards, etc. in original Ford folder. Will keep the rear area covered with a bedliner until you take the truck to keep any rain out of the exposed frame. My name is Shaun and if I can answer any questions about this F250 for you, you can email me or call me at 61zero-3eight5-74threethree between 8am and 10pm EASTERN time. You're also welcome to get in touch to set up a time to come see this truck in person if you'd like. May be able to deliver to you personally, but please make arrangements with me PRIOR to bidding; otherwise, it will be pick-up only (by you or a transporter) in ZIP code 19518. Would like to sell soon; I have no indoor storage for this one. NO RESERVE - highest bid takes this one home. Thanks. WHO WE ARE: FiatLancia is a family-run entity specializing in original equipment manufacturer (OEM) classic/vintage parts for (primarily) European automobiles, but we also offer some other items for which we need to find new homes. We have purchased many dealership inventories over the past twenty-plus years, so in some cases these are new old stock (NOS) parts, but almost all are OEM. We simply offer these sometimes rare items to fellow enthusiasts like us out there that need them, just as we buy what we need (and like) on eBay ourselves. We're not a commercial operation or a formal company, just dedicated car enthusiasts: in addition to the dealership inventories, we maintain a collection of over 100 cars, including show winners, drivers, restoration candidates, and parts cars. We're very active in club activities, attending car shows and other club events nearly every weekend between May and October. FiatLancia also restores and sells complete cars custom-tailored for individual clients, specializing in Fiat Spiders and X1/9s. OTHER PARTS: Please click here or on the little red door just to the right of my eBay name and feedback rating above to visit our eBay store and see all the other great items we're offering. You can check our other auctions if you click here or on the "Seller's Other Items" link above on the right. Please click here or on the word "FiatLancia" under the "Seller info" heading above right if you would like more information about us and the cars we are currently dismantling. Please consider adding us to your "Favorite Sellers" list as we'll be listing parts from our purchased inventories and parted-out cars as well as other sources. Contact us via eBay's messaging system ("Ask a question" near the bottom of the page) and we can reply with our personal email address and/or phone number if you'd like to get more information via email or phone. OUR TERMS: Pay quickly. That's all I'm allowed to say about payments without violating any policies. In person pick-up is welcomed on any item, especially larger/heavier items, where pickup may be an absolute requirement. We may be able to assist with in-person delivery as we do travel often, but this should NOT be assumed, advance arrangements MUST be made and you MUST receive written (email) confirmation from us PRIOR to the end of the auction. Otherwise, buyers will be responsible for shipping costs, and items will be shipped via United States Postal Service within one or two days once payment is received. The eBay shipping calculator is not always accurate but we try our best to estimate and input measurement/weight data as best we can. Packaging, handling, crating, and other "fees" are NEVER charged for normal, easily-shipped items. Happy to combine items in a single package (where possible) to lower shipping costs for you. Engines, transmissions, windshields/glass, body panels, bumpers, seats, and other large items will be pick-up ONLY, but there are companies out there (such as UShip.com, for example, where we are also registered under the same username) that may be able to help you out with getting large items delivered. We are willing to work with you should you need to hire such a carrier (scheduling, meeting, helping load, etc.) but all such arrangements are solely the buyer's (your) responsibility. We're enthusiasts like you and are happy to help however we can. Our 10-plus-years of buying and selling on eBay and our feedback rating attest to the fact that we're there for you. Bid confidently!
