1976 MG MIDGET "ANNIVERSARY EDITION" You are bidding on a 1976 MG Midget Anniversary Edition. Low starting bid with "No Reserve". I purchased this car about three years ago and drove it home ... I bought it for parts for another MG Midget I was restoring and turning into a rally car ... after driving the car home I thought it was too nice to use as a parts car and ended up parking it in the garage, putting a car cover over it and there it has been sitting for the last three years. The car is a California car and has no deep rust and the underside looks clean. The car would make a good daily driver ... it has a decent recent amateur paint job - a few dings here and there. The interior is in good condition - clean carpets and seats - a dash cap has been added to the top of the dashboard so the dash looks OK. There is a nice after market stereo installed that works fine and sounds good - has new looking speakers installed behind the seats. I have not started the car since I parked it and don't plan to. The new owner should flush out the old gas, replace fluids and tune the car prior to trying to start it - as I said, the car ran when I parked it but I don't want to ruin anything by trying to start the car with old fluids - also the battery is old now that it doesn't seem to hold a charge (it will need a new battery). Again, the car currently is not running. A couple of the tires don't seem to hold air anymore so the car will probably need a couple of new tires ... the car does come with all of the correct rims including a spare tire located in the trunk. The car also has the optional luggage rack. All and all this MG looks way cleaner than many of the ones I have seen on eBay and it is the limited edition "Anniversary Edition" ... if you are looking for a clean daily driver and your willing to do a little work to get it running again than this is the car for you. The car is being "SOLD AS IS" ... clean title in hand and registered in California as non-op ... any smog or registration to make it road worthy is the responsibility of the buyer. The buyer must pick up the car at my residence in California and is responsible for any shipping.
