1999 DODGE AVENGER SPORT *NR* ROAD READY! This vehicle has been owned in our family from brand new. At this time it is still a good vehicle for a young driver to learn with and/or for basic transportation. The car comes PRE-DENTED!! It is ready to be driven as it is. No known repairs are necessary to drive it away. We have finally bought a replacement vehicle and the Avenger needs to move on to someone else. THE GOOD: The Avenger is ready to drive away. The battery is relatively new. The front brake pads have about 8k miles on them since replacement. Tune-up about 13k since done. Radiator about 11k since replaced. One new tire in last month, others about 17k miles on them. Automatic transmission was "rebuilt" / "refurbished" about 14k miles ago (that was a $1275 cost that has been done.) Vehicle is regularly smog tested in my county and has always passed the test. Radio works well!! THE BAD: Air conditioning is not working. Passenger door handle is broken (is repairable with a replacement handle..I have replaced this before.) Driver door lock does not operate by key. Front end does not align well without expensive repairs so front tires wear quickly. It is necessary to rotate tires regularly to prevent premature replacement. Sounds like it needs a muffler or exhaust pipe to quiet it down a bit. THE UGLY: As shown in the photos, there are multiple dents on the Avenger. The biggest are each of the two front fenders. Other smaller dents and scratches are plentiful. Hood pins are present to secure the hood. I have tried to be complete in this description but it is possilbe that I have forgotten something. The Avenger is offered in AS-IS condition. No implied warranties at all. The Avenger is priced to sell at a bargain price.
