It's currently setup as a flatbed work body with bins and a small crane but could be used however you chose, the bed is probably worth $600 in scrap if you just want the cab and chassis. The truck is in very presentable original condition, it runs and drives very well, has good tires, and needs nothing. It's been serviced, detailed, and is ready to get right to work! exterior The paint and body on the cab of this guy are in good shape for a workhorse. I'm sure it's seen some dirt roads and work, but it isn't all beat up. The paint still has nice gloss, no obvious body damage, no hail damage, and no bubbly rust. The bottom of the cab is chipped up and there's a few small dings. We replaced the front bumper, came in all chipped up and the chrome just looks better. The windshield is good. The wheels look fine and tires have nice deep tread all the way around. The bed isn't beautiful, but it's a work truck. The boxes on top are tack welded on but could be cut off if you want a standard flat bed. This creature is all hand fabricated, they did a pretty nice job. It has seen use, has some dents, surface rust but nothing rotted anywhere, box doors are worn a bit, but still open and close ok. The crane just needs a winch and hook to operate properly. It does have a door for a gooseneck hitch, but it was tack welded shut eons ago. My guess is, you'll want to work the bed over for your particular use. I tried to show the truck from a lot of angles, so you know what you're getting. interior The interior is in pretty good shape as well. It's a work truck, not a lot to break, but does have tilt, cruise, and cold A/C. The upholstery came in with a few rips so we replaced a few panels, looks great now. The dash, doors, headliner and flooring are all decent. Everything works. It does have dust behind the instrument cluster and a little crack in the clear cover. mechanical This truck fires easy and idles smooth, it brand new batteries. It's a strong 6.0 and has been well maintained. A friend of the family brought it down 150 or so miles to our location and had only nice things to say about it. The truck drives straight, shifts smooth, and the motor isn't rattly. It doesn't seem to smoke much if any. It's not all cold blooded like some 6.0s, this is a later model 05. We've always had better luck with these engines in 450 and 550s, they like to pull heavier weight, like to be driven and pulled harder and do not like to be babied. Running and using them regularly helps fight carbon buildup and they last better. This guy has new oil, filter, and fuel filter. The tranny and diff/t-case fluids are full and look good.
