This is rare and unique vehicle - believed to be only one of about 5 in the country; I have owned this car since 1982. I purchased this car in England and imported it in 1984. This is the desirable SE5A model with the Ford 3.0l V6 and Overdrive 4-speed gearbox. Very easy to get parts - basically off-the-shelf British Leyland and Ford parts with a strong club backing - I've never had a problem getting parts for this car. It is a glassfiber body fitted to substantial frame/chassis. Go to Wikipedia for more details. If you want attention - then this is the car for you - RIGHT HAND DRIVE. It has a brand new Webastosunroof which makes it feel like a convertible. I just fitted brand new tires on desirable Dunlop alloy wheelsI had both front and rear bumpers re-chromed. Mechanically, the car is in very good condition, I would not hesitate to drive this across the country.It is a great cruising machine - engage overdrive and the car will cruise all day long at highway speeds. The suspension is tight with new AVO front shocks just fitted. The engine is in good condition - great oil pressure and does not overheat - just fitted a new electric fan motor. Mechanically I restored the car in the late '80s - the chassis is rust free and solid. The body is all original,it has never been restored and has never had any accidents. It is not perfect and reflects its age. The paintis the original and presentable but has dulled. Paint had peeled by the windscreen where water got underneath and lifted it. Interior is in good condition - I installed new carpets 20 years ago which show little wear and the seats showlittle wear and tear. Door panels are very good. The heat has taken it toll on the plastics and dried it outover the years. The dash panel has shrunk along with the dash top. All electrics work - although the gasgauge and temp gauge read low. After 30 years of ownership - I have decided that it's time to move on. I only drive it about 500 miles per yearusually to go to car shows and around town driving. The rest of the year it sits in the garage. I'd like to pass this on to someone who can give the car the attention that it deserves and will use it. The only known problemis that the synchro on 2nd gear is worn - it has been like this for 20 year and does not detract from the drivingexperience. I have a couple of boxes of spare parts and can deliver within 150 mile radius of central NJ.
