Up for sale is a 2005 Ford Excursion Limited truck with four-wheel drive. Do not let the size scare you; this vehicle gets the same gas mileage as the Tahoes and Suburbans out there. This Excursion is being sold with no reserve, so the high bidder WILL win this auction. The starting price is set below the average trade-in value so do not let it slip away at the last minute! The powerful V10 engine provides plenty of power for towing those big toys (boats, motorhomes, etc.) or just cruising along at interstate speeds without breaking 2000 RPM. It has been upgraded with a K&N air filter to keep the engine nice and cool. As you are probably aware, the Limited is loaded with options from the start. Other upgrades include a remote start and aftermarket alarm system as well as a back-up camera and DVD player in the dash. This DVD system is in addition to the rear entertainment system (with two headsets and a remote control). An electrical engineer has wired the system so that the rear entertainment system plays through the headphones only. That means the adults up front do not have to listen to the cartoons in the back. Unlike other "large" SUVs with a third row, this truck still has plenty of storage behind the third row for those golf clubs and double strollers. The width of this vehicle will allow three car seats across the middle row should you need that feature. Weathertech floor mats keep the spilled juice or muddy cleats off the carpet. Now the downsides. There is a small crack in the arm rest on the center console. The two front leather seats are showing signs of wear. There are a couple rust spots on the rear bumper near the license plate (see pictures). I am currently using this truck as my daily driver so understand that the mileage will go up as the auction goes on. The vehicle is currently located just north of Charlotte, NC, but I may be able to deliver it to a decent size airport in the Southeast for a fee. A $500 deposit is required within 24 hours of auction closing. An additional fee may be required if you would like the truck delivered to you. There were some questions regarding the title and mileage. The previous owner reported owner guessed at the mileage when he titled it. A correction letter was filed and the current title shows "actual mileage". I have uploaded a picture of the title for clarification.
