1968 Mercury Montego

1968 Mercury Montego Converable, 302 V8 ford motor has a new holley 4 barrel carb on car, old one in trunk in box new set of headers in trunk, seats are good , dash & gages good. body has some rust mostly around the rear panels, top has a few tears but doesnt leak. Was purchased by my wife's sister in 1971 . 41 years ago same owner. after @ 12 years driving her family got too big for a converable so it was parked in their parents rear garage. and there it sit for almost 28 years until their parents passed and the house was sold. they have had it running about 2 years ago but then their son was going to redo it he did some work on brakes but never finished than bought new holly carb, and set of headers , carb was installed but only removed manifolds and didnt install headers. the car has 74,660 original miles. rear tires are up front down and need to be replaced. from what i could tell the frame looks ok rear bottom of fenders rough but repairable. will need to be trailered home. headers and carb new and worth what i at least want. no reserve john
