The owner bought a new trailer and needed something to tow it, so the bronx had to go. This is a very well equipped Eddie Bauer with the proper 351 motor. It's an older vehicle with mileage, not new, but it looks pretty darn nice, has almost new high dollar tires, and it runs out well. The previous owner recently replaced every part in the cooling system as a service step. It's been well kept and is really a hard to find vehicle. exterior The paint and body on this guy look nice. It's all very glossy except the roof which could stand to be painted. I believe we could do it for $200 if you want it done. The wheels shine and tires have super deep tread, almost new. They weren't cheap either. The windshield is ok, no cracks, looks a tad pitted. Our cost is $125 for a new one. It's a Colorado vehicle and we don't salt the roads in winter, so no rust. There's some normal wear as you'd expect with the age. The left side step is broken towards the front and neither has the step pad. It has a slight bend in the right rear lower quarter, but I think we can pop it out, we'll give it a shot. There's no paint damage there. There's some stains or delaminate in small places on the hood. The tailgate has a few nicks and the right side center panel behind the door has some small cracks in the paint. The doors open and close easily, spare tire carrier works fine, and yes, if you have the time, the top comes off this guy for summer fun! Again, almost 20 years old, not new, but definitely pretty sharp. interior The interior is fair overall. The upholstery is fine, no rips or big worn areas. It has been smoked in a tad, doesn't reek, does have a few marks on the carpet. The trunk carpet shows the most wear, not fantastic shape. The doors and headliner look good. This is an Eddie Bauer, and has most options available for the year. The steering wheel needs a cover. All the accessories work fine. mechanical This Bronco runs out very strong. It fires easy and idles smooth, no obvious missing, no rattle or slap. It was owned by a guy who worked on his own vehicles and he did most of the wrenching. I'm sure it's had a lot done over the years. Most recently he replaced the radiator, heater core, thermostat, water pump, and all lines. He said he just didn't want to worry about the cooling system when it reached 200k, motor runs very cool which is a given. The truck drives fine. It has a little play in the front end but isn't all over the road. The 4x4 works fine, transmission seems to shift real friendly and fluid looks fine. The belt is ok, undercarriage is a little damp, but not leaving any puddles or dripping badly. The owner took good care of his vehicles. This guy has high mileage and will be sold without warranty, but the previous owner drove it every single day and it should be fine for a long while to come yet. comments This is a neat vehicle and a great find.
