For sale this 1923 Model T roadster,Original Rust free California car. A little bit about the history of the car.This T comes from a family that owned it since new.The original owner passed away in 1984 and left the car to his son.The car havent left the barn since then until I found it.This is one of the first cars in the Los Angeles area,horseless carriage. The car still has the hard to come by red horseless carriage license plates. The car has been vin tagged on two places on chassis,so in case of overseas shipping option arises it wont be a problem as the title vin number matches the chassis number.Common issue with old T's if your trying to export it. The paint looks original with the right amount of patina.The wood is solid and the steel is free of any rust or damage. Work I've done since then is as follows: Repacked the bearings New coil box and wiring Waterpump rebuilt(an update) New battery New upholstery New muffler New head gasket,from Chaffins Garage,Corona New water hoses Oil change of course Installed new wiring and rear stop light. Before I started the car I drained and flushed the oil,flushed the radiator.Then removed the head resurfaced it and installed new copper head gasket.New headbolts installed and torqued twice first with 35 ftp and then 50ftp to ensure longevity. I installed new fuel lines,cleaned and coated the inside of the gas tank. The turtle back was missing so I installed brazilian cherry wood laminated wood,it looks fantastic. I retained the vintage traveling case,that is close to 100 years old.It has a locking latch and the key is included. Tires are like new as well as the inner tubes. The car runs and drives great but its time to let her go. As no car is perfect heres a couple of things that i would do to the car in the near future.I would rebuild the carburetor,add a horn and a speedometer. These are just all personal preferences.
