This is a 1989 Ford Mustang GT with the 302 5.0L engine. It has a 5-Speed manual Transmission. I purchased the car a few weeks ago but since have decided on a different project since wife says I cant have both..... The car runs and drives fine. Cosmetically this car needs a paint job and aligning of some panels. The fiberglass saleen style spoiler is cracked. The engine starts up quickly and idles nicely but there is an exhaust leak as the header is mising some bolts and a few arent in all the way. The radiator has a leak. The car does shake when engine is on while parked so I would assume it could use new engine mounts. The transmission shifts smoothly (Also has nice short throw shifter installed) and the clutch feels fine. Two easy fixes are the gas gauge is Not reading and Power locks dont work. Now for the interior.... the head liner is hanging on the sides and the drivers seat has a tear. With a good cleaning the interior can clean up. This car is great for someone who has love for the fox body mustang but I am selling it As Is with no warranty.
