Mechanical rebuilding as follows (Engine has approximately 1700 miles since rebuild) - New .020 mahle pistons, rings, wrist pins, and bushings - New OE BMW standard rod and main bearings - New cylinder head - Six intake and six new exhaust valves; New valve springs, retainers, and keepers - Twelve new rocker arms; four new rocker shafts; twelve new locating springs and washers - Complete set new cylinder head studs, nuts washers-replacing headbolts - New oil pump and drive chain - New timing chain, guides, rails and tensioner; New cam and crank gears - Entire engine balanced and blue printed - All new fasteners and hardware - New aluminum flywheel and race clutch; new slave and master cylinders - New water pump and all new coolant hoses and clamps - New radiator and fan clutch - Six new fuel injectors - New Stahl heater system - New factory OE exhaust system - Five speed transmission from 1980 528i replacing factory four speed - New ignition wires, cap-rotor, plugs, etc. - New belts Other Tasteful Adds/Maintenance: - New stereo system: amp, radio, equalizer - New European four brake lamp system - New Momo steering wheel - New rotors, remanufactured calipers at all four wheels; done in summer 2006 - Car has Bilstein HD shocks at all wheels - Sixteen inch Weds Wheels – None are bent! - Four New Yokohama tires /205.55.16Car body/structure is totally original except right front fender- replaced due to small dent caused by snowplow during original ownership.
