Available for Bidding I am selling my 1970 F100 Sport Custom 2 wheel drive truck, I have owned it for over ten years. I added power steering and power brakes to make it more manageable in today's traffic. It is an Arizona truck and has no rust other than surface rust were the paint has worn off. The truck is original and has the original paint (except for the roof) but the engine was replaced with a re-manufactured long block in 2003. The engine was upgraded from a 360 2 barrel to 390 4 barrel. The truck was my daily driver until 2005 in Phoenix. I moved to Colorado in 2005 and drove the truck 1,000 miles from Arizona to Colorado. It has been in a garage since coming to Colorado. It is driven only in good weather and very little since then and mostly sits except for occasional yard work. Never driven in snow. The 390 FE 4 barrel engine has about 12-15,000 miles on it and runs excellent. Have receipts for the engine as well as water, fuel, power steering pumps, motor mounts, flywheel, alternator and regulator. The truck recently had a tune up including plugs, wires, points, rebuilt Holley carburetor and rebuilt distributor. I also rebuilt the steering column with new bearings and replaced rag joint 2-3 years ago. The truck has two fuel tanks with a switch on the floor to swap tanks. The original AM radio and bezel are still in the ruck and works. The paint on the roof is faded silver. The original roof color was red. It is a short bed and does have a spare tire. Truck runs and drives very well. I have most of the parts for under dash air conditioning but have not finished the installation. I have installed a dash cover and dyed it to match the original color. The seat was blue but it was dyed red also. I also have a complete set of trim and clips for the sides of the truck. I had planned to have the truck painted two tone red and white but never got around to it and was going to add the trim for the factory look. Truck does have some minor dents and scratches but remember it is 42 years old and has been used. Please let me know if you would like any additional photos. Thanks for looking.
