1967 Pontiac Firebird 400 Convertible (click small pictures for larger views) Specifications Year: 1967 Make: Pontiac Model: Firebird 400 4spd Features: Chassis matching 400 4spd Deluxe Trim Information This auction is for a 1967 Pontiac Firebird 400 4spd. The car has is an original firebird 400 4spd convertible. The motor and transmission have been changed with a those taken from a 76 Pontiac Firebird. Motor is a 455 taken from a 76 Firebird HO and transmission is a automatic 350turbo, the original manual pedals are there and the car can easily be turned back into a manual. It was bought back in 1990 from a guy in Virginia and had been in storage for the past 21 years. There is very little rust on the car. Motor runs perfectly, not sure if its built or not but it is a original 76 455 HO (block casting # checked). The transmission pan gasket needs to be changed. Exhaust is all new. New starter. It does need a battery though. Seats are all original and in good shape, the top portion of the left seat is ripped but can be easily changed. With a car of this age its in good shape but has the normal wear seen from years of use. Needs a new headliner. Convertible Top is in excellent shape and seems to be the original Ivory White and has no rips. Wheels are Weld Wheel dragracing wheels and are in good shape. The tires seemed to have been changed recently. SOLD AS-IS!.
